Role Type: 30 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 07:00-15:00

Salary: £13.45 per hour plus Sodexo benefits

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a Hospitality & Cleaning Operative to deliver day-to-day Hospitality and Cleaning services across the site. The key focus of this role is to ensure all services are delivered confidently, efficiently, and in a timely manner — with minimal disruption to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist as directed with all aspects of delivery and presentation to the Company's standards.
  • To provide an efficient and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering & cleaning department.
  • To ensure that food is presented and served in a clean, hygienic environment.
  • To assist at service times by serving the customer at the counter as directed to the Company's standard.
  • To communicate well with customers and always demonstrate a helpful attitude.
  • To undertake all aspects in cleaning equipment: walls up to 6ft, floors, fixtures, fittings, catering equipment, cutlery, crockery, glassware etc., to the Company’s standard according to the cleaning rota or as directed.
  • To prepare and deliver hospitality.
  • Washing & polishing of glasses in the bar area ready for functions.
  • Shift flexibility to support evening functions.
  • Manual handling of tables and chairs to set up facilities ready for functions.
  • Comply and complete with all FS, Allergen and H&S due diligence.
  • Fill and clean coffee machines, record on service cards.
  • Check deliveries and temperatures on delivery.
  • To assist with site store deliveries.

  • Previous food handling experience preferred.
