Hours: 35 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 2:30pm

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Chef Supervisor to join our team at Devro Scotland Ltd in Moodiesburn. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate food professional to support the delivery of high-quality catering services while leading and motivating a small team. As Chef Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard while maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the delivery of a high-quality food service for colleagues and customers
  • Supervise and support kitchen team members during daily operations
  • Assist with menu planning and development
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Monitor stock levels and support ordering processes
  • Assist with financial controls and cost management
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards
  • Support training and development of team members

What You Bring

  • Professional cooking qualification (essential)
  • Food Hygiene qualification (essential)
  • Previous chef management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills
  • Financial awareness and understanding of kitchen cost controls
  • Basic computing skills
  • Experience of menu development
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • A proactive and customer‑focused approach
