Join Sodexo as an Evening Cleaner, where you'll play an important role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across a welcoming and well-maintained head office environment.

You’ll work as part of the cleaning team, following scheduled cleaning tasks and site procedures while ensuring customers and colleagues receive a professional and high-quality service.

With a keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach, you'll help maintain the standards expected by both Sodexo and our client.

What you'll do

• Deliver high standards of cleaning across a variety of designated areas
• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions from the Cleaning Supervisor or Manager
• Adapt to daily priorities and specific cleaning requirements
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times
• Follow company and client policies, procedures and site guidelines
• Use cleaning methods and equipment in line with your training
• Follow COSHH, Health & Safety, hygiene and fire requirements
• Follow site colour-coding procedures
• Wear the required uniform and PPE
• Report faults with cleaning machinery and equipment
• Report any building defects or hazards to the Cleaning Supervisor or Manager
• Complete all required training
• Carry out reasonable requests to support the wider cleaning service
• Work both independently and as part of a team to maintain excellent standards

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in cleaning or a customer-focused environment
• A high level of customer service and attention to detail
• COSHH awareness/training
• Experience using PPE correctly
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• A proactive, reliable and trustworthy approach
• The ability to remain calm and professional when handling feedback or challenging situations
• A flexible and resilient approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A hands‑on can‑do attitude
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Desirable:

• Experience of high-level cleaning
• Experience using cleaning machinery such as Karcher
• Specialist cleaning experience, including carpets, blinds or soft surfaces
