About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to lead our catering and hospitality operation at Johnson Matthey in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a busy corporate catering service within a prestigious manufacturing and research environment. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional food and hospitality services, leading a dedicated team, managing financial performance, and building strong relationships with our client. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily catering, hospitality and vending operations across the site.
- Deliver high‑quality food and exceptional customer service in line with Sodexo standards.
- Manage budgets, food costs, labour, stock control and financial performance.
- Lead, develop and motivate the catering team to achieve operational excellence.
- Build strong relationships with the client and ensure service levels and KPIs are consistently met.
- Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability across the catering operation.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Catering Manager role within a high‑volume catering or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and motivating teams.
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience managing budgets, food costs, labour and stock control.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Well organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple priorities.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Food Safety Level 3, IOSH Managing Safely or relevant catering qualifications are desirable.
