This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse operational team, build strong client relationships and drive service excellence across a busy Defence environment.</p><p><b>What you’ll do:</b></p><p>As Service Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day management, coordination and delivery of contracted soft FM services, ensuring operational performance, compliance and customer satisfaction remain at the highest standards.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Leading and motivating operational teams to deliver exceptional service.</li><li>Managing daily service delivery in line with contractual requirements and KPIs.</li><li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with military personnel, clients and key stakeholders.</li><li>Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and company policies.</li><li>Managing budgets, labour costs and operational performance to achieve financial targets.</li><li>Driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance services.</li><li>Supporting recruitment, training, performance management and employee development.</li><li>Working collaboratively with other site managers to ensure seamless service delivery across the garrison.</li><li>Acting as Duty Manager and providing operational support outside normal working hours when required.</li></ul><p><b>What you bring:</b></p><p>You’ll be an experienced manager with a passion for delivering outstanding service and developing high‑performing teams.</p><ul><li>Experience managing teams within Facilities Management, Hospitality or Soft Services.</li><li>Strong leadership and people‑management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.</li><li>Experience managing operational performance and meeting KPIs.</li><li>Good commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and resources.</li><li>Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.</li><li>The ability to make decisions, solve problems and prioritise effectively.</li><li>Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.</li></ul><h2>Desirable</h2><ul><li>Experience working within a Defence or military environment.</li><li>IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or equivalent).</li><li>Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent).</li></ul><p><b>What we offer:</b></p><p>Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
