Following on from our biggest season yet, we are looking to start the new upcoming season where we left off. What you’ll do

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of hospitality bars on matchdays and event days, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, support, and motivate bar staff to deliver high-quality customer service in a premium environment.
  • Ensure bars are fully set up before service, including stock, glassware, equipment, and presentation standards.
  • Oversee drink service to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistency across all hospitality areas.
  • Monitor staff performance during service and provide on-the-spot guidance and support where needed.
  • Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, including Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service.
  • Manage tills and payment procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and support stock rotation and replenishment.
  • Liaise with cellar and hospitality room teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across all bar areas.
  • Ensure all health & safety, food safety, and stadium operational procedures are followed.
  • Support queue management and service flow during peak periods to maximise efficiency.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup, reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting.
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and solution-focused approach in a fast-paced, high-pressure stadium environment.
  • Support training and onboarding of casual bar staff where required.

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or senior bar role within hospitality, events, or stadium environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate casual staff under pressure.
  • Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including stock control, tills, and service standards.
  • Confident decision-maker who remains calm and effective in fast-paced, high-volume matchday settings.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle VIP and hospitality guests professionally.
  • Good understanding of licensing laws, including Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across hospitality, cellar, and operations teams.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and large-scale events.
  • Hands-on and proactive approach, willing to support bar service during peak periods.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on service quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience managing cash reconciliation and basic end-shift reporting.
  • Ability to train, guide, and support casual bar staff to maintain consistent standards.
  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused when dealing with service issues or customer concerns.
