This role covers various locations in Belfast and Antrim:

  • Own vehicle required
  • Full driving licence required
  • CTC security clearance required, which will be completed after a successful recruitment process.

This role calls for a chef who can blend maintaining excellent standards, while working efficiently in a fast-paced, trend-setting, client-focused environment.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare, cook and present food to agreed menus and Service Level Agreements while meeting all food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality meal and hospitality services across multiple sites, including production, service, and clear-down.
  • Travel between sites as required by rota and provide flexible cover to ensure uninterrupted catering operations.
  • Follow company, client and statutory regulations including Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH, fire safety and site security procedures.
  • Monitor and record food storage and holding temperatures (fridges, freezers, hot cupboards and serveries) in line with legal and company requirements.
  • Ensure correct stock control, ordering from nominated suppliers, and proper storage using FIFO principles.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, admin records, daily task sheets, expense claims, and compliance logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive working relationships with clients, customers and colleagues.
  • Check that kitchen equipment is safe and operational, reporting faults immediately and removing unsafe equipment from use.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience working within a professional catering or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene, allergen control, special dietary requirements and safe food handling practices.
  • Understanding of compliance-driven environments with adherence to standards, procedures and audit requirements.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
  • Ability to work independently across different locations and adapt quickly to new site setups and teams.
  • Full access to a vehicle and willingness to travel daily between sites as part of a mobile role.
  • High standards of personal hygiene, appearance and cleanliness, with commitment to wearing company uniform.
