What you’ll do:
- Deliver excellent customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Assist in preparing, presenting, and serving food to company standards, ensuring HACCP and food safety compliance.
- Carry out cashier duties and promote additional sales where possible.
- Keep counters, tables, condiments, and service areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Undertake cleaning duties (equipment, floors, fixtures, crockery, glassware, etc.) following company standards.
- Ensure proper storage of goods on a “first in, first out” basis while maintaining health & safety standards.
- Monitor and record fridge, freezer, and hot-holding temperatures in line with regulations.
- Support the wider team by attending training, following site security procedures, and assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service environment (preferred but not essential).
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Ability to work well in a compliance-driven environment (food hygiene, health & safety, COSHH).
- High standards of personal hygiene and appearance, adhering to company uniform requirements.
- Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks and support the team as needed.
- Proactive approach to maintaining safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
- Reliability and attention to detail when handling food, equipment, and customer interactions.
