About the Role: The Customer Marketing Lead will be responsible for building and executing customer marketing programs using a variety of marketing tactics including ABM programs, virtual and in-person events, and email campaigns to drive up-sell/cross-sell and renewal pipeline generation goals. The ideal candidate will align and partner with key stakeholders across Sales and Marketing to develop customer marketing campaigns that connect sales with customers and help them grow.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, across channels including organic and paid channels, content, email, and virtual and live events.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing teams to identify opportunities for leverage and scale initiatives across customer programs.
  • Continually measure, monitor and drive improvement in program approaches; employ industry best practices and look for opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Present regularly on program performance and learnings to key stakeholders.
  • Proactively ideate and propose new approaches for compelling customer engagement programs that drive sustainability.
  • Build rapport with customers to increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Personal qualities:
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate data-driven recommendations simply and effectively.
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate strongly, develop deep relationships with colleagues and influence functional teams to deliver on goals.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize, balance multiple projects, and manage complex workstreams while consistently delivering results.
  • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience.
  • Scrappy, ‘team player’ mentality, with a strong ability and interest in both thinking strategically and living in the details of execution.
Technical qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of B2B or tech marketing experience, especially Customer Service, Customer Success, or Account Management experience.
  • Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and channels, including but not limited to Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense.
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
  • Ability to write effective copy is a necessity.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes.
