We’re also proud to have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2026, as well as one of the UK’sBest Workplaces for Wellbeing™ and Development™, with 97% of our people saying Socura is a great place to work.

We’re looking for an experienced Strategic Alliances Manager to develop and grow some of our most important technology partnerships.

This is a highly visible, commercially focused role, responsible for building strategic relationships with key technology partners including Google, Palo Alto Networks and Microsoft, and turning those relationships into tangible opportunities for both Socura and our partners.

The Role

As Strategic Alliances Manager, you’ll own and develop Socura’s relationships with our key strategic technology partners.

This isn’t simply about managing partner programmes. We’re looking for someone who can build genuine relationships across partner organisations, create joint go-to-market plans and make Socura a partner that our strategic vendors actively want to work with.

You’ll spend time with our partners, build relationships across sales, marketing, technical and leadership teams, identify opportunities to collaborate and help generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.

You’ll work closely with Socura’s sales, marketing and technical teams to ensure our partnerships translate into measurable commercial results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning and developing strategic relationships with key technology partners, including Google, Palo Alto Networks and Microsoft
  • Building strong relationships across partner sales, marketing, technical and leadership teams
  • Developing joint business plans and go-to-market strategies with our strategic partners
  • Running regular partner reviews and QBRs
  • Creating and growing partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline
  • Identifying referral, co-sell and joint account opportunities
  • Working with our sales team on joint account planning and introductions
  • Building Socura’s profile and mindshare within our strategic partner organisations
  • Spending regular time in partner offices and developing strong face-to-face relationships
  • Working with marketing to develop joint campaigns, events, webinars, PR and customer stories
  • Identifying and maximising MDF and other partner marketing opportunities
  • Managing partner programmes, accreditations, incentives and requirements
  • Identifying new opportunities to expand our relationships with strategic vendors
  • Tracking partner activity, pipeline and performance
  • Providing regular reporting and forecasting against alliance objectives
  • Ensuring our internal sales teams understand each partner proposition and how to take it to market
  • Acting as the internal champion for our strategic alliances across Socura

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who understands how successful technology alliances actually work and knows how to turn relationships into commercial outcomes. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • 3+ years' experience managing technology alliances, partnerships or channel relationships
  • Experience working with major technology vendors such as Google, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks or similar
  • A strong understanding of technology partner ecosystems and co-sell models
  • Experience developing and executing joint go-to-market plans
  • A track record of generating measurable commercial results through partnerships
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • The ability to influence people across organisations where you don’t have direct authority
  • Strong organisation and project management skills
  • A proactive approach – you’ll be expected to create opportunities rather than wait for them
  • The ability and willingness to travel regularly to partner offices and meetings across the UK
  • Experience within cyber security, cloud or managed services would be highly desirable.

What Matters Most

We want someone who understands that great partnerships are built through relationships, relevance and commercial value.

You’ll need to be comfortable getting out and spending time with our partners, building a network and ensuring Socura is front of mind when opportunities arise.

Success in this role won’t be measured by the number of partner meetings you have. It will be measured by the strength of the relationships you build and the pipeline, opportunities and revenue those relationships generate.

Why Socura?

We believe people do their best work when they enjoy where they work, have opportunities to develop and feel part of something they can genuinely contribute to.

That’s reflected in our GreatPlace to Work recognition:

  • UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2026
  • 97% positive employee feedback

You’ll be joining an ambitious, growing cyber security business at a point where our strategic alliances are becoming an increasingly important part of our growth strategy.

You’ll have real ownership of relationships with some of the world’s leading technology companies and the opportunity to shape how Socura works with them.

This is a role with significant visibility across the business and with our partners, with the freedom to build relationships, develop new opportunities and make a measurable impact on Socura’s growth.
