My client, a prestigious organisation within the education industry based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire has an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Admissions Officer. Joining the organisation in an exciting period of growth, the Admissions Officer will take a proactive approach, engaging prospective students about the programmes on offer and support them throughout the admissions process.
The Role
- Maintain knowledge of all academic programmes, from entry criteria, eligibility and fee structures
- Respond to queries in a timely manner, providing tailored information and guidance to potential students
- Liase with appropriate staff and applicants to coordinate interviews and communicate selection decisions
- Update and maintain the CRM
- Attend and facilitate open days, discovery events and career fairs
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of working in Admissions or Sales within the education industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work proactively, as part of a wider team and acting on own initiative
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to respond to a wide range of enquiries with strong customer service
