The role
We are looking for a motivated Global C&B Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll help design fair and competitive reward structures while also managing hands-on payroll and benefits operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of C&B/Total Rewards experience who wants to grow in a global and fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Reward Design
- Support the development of our pay philosophy, job levels, and salary ranges.
- Partner with Legal on equity and token-based incentives (e.g. options, vesting, liquidity/lock-up).
- Contribute to annual/bi-annual compensation reviews (merit, promotions, bonuses, commissions).
- Help design incentive programs for different teams (e.g. sales quotas, project bonuses, on-chain bounties).
Operations (Hands-on Delivery)
- Manage global payroll with external providers, handling monthly updates, joiners/leavers.
- Keep HR data accurate and create simple dashboards (e.g. pay equity, benefits usage).
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal processes.
Advisory & Business Partnering
- Advise managers on offers, retention packages, and reward communications.
- Provide tools, guidance, and training to help managers make pay and benefits decisions.
- Be a trusted go-to contact for reward-related questions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in C&B/Total Rewards, covering both compensation design and operations (payroll/benefits).
- Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (required for cross-regional collaboration).
- Experience with equity plans, and ideally some exposure to token/crypto incentives (Web3, fintech, or tech is a plus).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
- Detail-oriented and adaptable, with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- CIPP, WorldatWork, or other C&B qualifications.
- Experience in start-ups/scale-ups with global distributed teams.
- Exposure to sales/revenue-linked incentives.
- Familiarity with on-chain rewards and vesting/lock-up structures.
