What You'll Do The Principal Functional Consultant serves as the critical bridge between e-invoicing regulatory mandates, business processes, and technical implementation teams. You will translate complex global e-invoicing and continuous transaction control (CTC) requirements into structured, applicable designs. These will ensure successful implementation across Avalara's E-Invoicing and Live Reporting (ELR) ecosystem. Reporting to the Global Professional Services Leader, you will work with mandate subject matter experts, engineering teams, ERP connector teams, implementation consultants, AI partners, and strategic technology partners. You will consistently interpret, document, and implement regulatory requirements. You will combine deep functional knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes with technical consulting and solution design capabilities.
