As we continue to scale globally, we are looking for an EU/UK Logistics Manager to lead and scale our European logistics operations.

In this role, you will own end-to-end EU/UK freight and transportation operations—from origin through final delivery—while managing freight forwarder and 3PL partnerships, ensuring customs compliance, and driving continuous improvement across our European and UK supply chains.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that sits at the intersection of strategic planning and day‑to‑day operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Freight & Transportation Management
  • Manage, develop, and build the EU/UK Logistics Team
  • Own and manage all EU/UK ocean, air, and road freight movements from origin through final delivery across bonded and non-bonded facilities.
  • Lead carrier selection, rate negotiations, contract management, and performance optimisation across freight modes.
  • Work with nominated freight forwarders to confirm bookings and manage track-and-trace for on‑time delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement across routing, mode optimisation, consolidation, and lead time management.
  • Manage freight forecasting, budgeting, auditing, and invoice approval processes for EU/UK operations.
  • Customs & Compliance
  • Understand Bonded vs Non-Bonded warehouse customs requirements.
  • Partner with the SKIMS Trade Compliance team to validate import and export documentation, ensuring all customs information is accurate and compliant with UK and EU regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting UK and EU imports, exports, shipping, product handling, and transportation, and communicate operational impacts to relevant teams.
  • Establish controls and standard operating procedures to reduce customs risk and prevent shipment delays, penalties, or overpayment of duties and taxes.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on EU/UK trade compliance, partnering with the internal Trade Compliance team as needed.
  • 3PL, Inbound, & Supplier Management
  • Understand ASN flow and submission through systems
  • Reconcile inbound ship vs receiving discrepancies
  • Manage relationships, contracts, budgets, and performance for EU/UK freight forwarders.
  • Work with overseas suppliers to ensure cargo is tendered on time and all documentation is correct; provide guidance on any issues.
  • Evaluate and evolve 3PL partnerships to ensure best‑in‑class service, flexibility, and cost‑effectiveness as the business scales.
  • Establish KPIs, lead regular business reviews, and implement corrective action plans to exceed service and performance targets.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and lead strategic initiatives to optimise freight spend without compromising service levels.
  • Operations & Reporting
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Production, Planning, Sourcing, Accounting, IT, and Distribution teams to align logistics strategy with business priorities.
  • Manage Tracking Reports and system data integrity
  • Track shipments in real‑time, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders and addressing delays or discrepancies immediately.
  • Maintain accurate logistics and freight data within Net Suite ERP, including data entry, filing, and recordation.
  • Prepare and analyse logistics reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimise processes.
  • Coordinate with internal cross‑functional teams to provide updates on all active and in‑transit Purchase Orders.
  • Manage Tracking Reports and system data integrity
  • Support ad‑hoc projects and requests as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 4+ years of experience in EU/UK logistics, freight, or supply chain roles, preferably within apparel, fashion, or consumer goods.
  • Proven experience managing freight forwarders, parcel carriers, and third‑party logistics providers.
  • Strong understanding of EU and UK customs regulations, import/export documentation, and trade compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with bonded and non‑bonded facilities.
  • Familiarity with retail launch calendars and seasonal inventory planning.
  • Proficiency with logistics systems and ERP platforms; Net Suite experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our London location.
