We are looking for a motivated, committed, and reliable Group Accountant to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our company by helping to provide financial support across SOCOTEC UK. You will embody our core behaviours of integrity, curiosity, warmth, and ambition. As a member of the Finance team, it is key that you are able to work independently, as well as working efficiently as part of a team.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and KPI to a high standard and to an agreed timetable
- Maintaining the intercompany reconciliations and reporting to group on a monthly basis
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts using Caseware including iXBRL tagging
- Cash flow reporting and forecasting including treasury administration
- Assistance with group budgeting and forecasting exercises
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Accountancy and tax knowledge
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
