Job Description
Are you interested in construction materials testing? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Field Technician, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC's continued success. As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We're looking for a dedicated Field Technician to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Field Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in site and laboratory testing of construction materials, along with knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory
- Completion of test sheets, including all calculations
- Production of reports in line with QA systems
Qualifications
To be a successful Field Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Health & safety focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you
