SOCOTEC's Infrastructure team delivers essential technical services that ensure the safety, quality and compliance of major construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. Job Description
Are you interested in geotechnical drilling and ground investigation? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Driller, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC's continued success. As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We're looking for a dedicated Driller to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Driller to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in geotechnical site investigation, along with knowledge of Eurocode 7 and British Standards, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with advancing geotechnical boreholes
- Completion of in-situ testing and sampling
- Routine and preventative maintenance of drill rigs and vehicles
Qualifications
To be a successful Driller, you should be able to demonstrate:
- CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Level 2 Diploma Land Drilling
- Drilling Support Operative
