About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Internal Sales / Sales Support Executive to join our growing Sustainability team at SOCOTEC. This hybrid role combines business development, client relationship management, and close collaboration with our marketing and commercial teams. You will play a key part in driving revenue growth through new business generation, supporting the external sales function, and ensuring our CRM and sales processes are consistently maintained and optimised.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, and digital channels
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Respond to pricing and product enquiries efficiently and accurately, coordinating with internal teams as required
- Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns, promotional activities, and customer communications
- Support the external Sustainability team with quotations, proposal preparation, and follow-ups
- Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and client interactions
- Monitor sales performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management and client meetings
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in an internal sales, sales support, or business development role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Confident telephone manner and ability to engage prospects
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of pricing and quotation processes
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
