PROJECT MANAGER

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our Teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are looking for a proactive, reliable and flexible Project Manager to join our Geotechnical Team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple in field projects, supervise a team of Engineers on site and manage ground investigation projects. Experience with project management and knowledge of the industry are important in order to succeed in this role.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • Plan and manage projects and business operations within their scope of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain existing and new business in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
  • Promote SOCOTEC’s full range of geotechnical services.
  • Confident and knowledgeable of various ground investigation techniques.
  • Day to day responsibility for planning, supervision and programming of Ground Investigation projects.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • 5 to 8 years plus of industry experience
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in project management.
  • Excellent awareness of ground investigation specifications, procedures, techniques, British Standards and codes of practice.
  • Awareness and ability to implement Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
