We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Graduate Fire Engineer to join our Building & Real Estate Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Fire Engineer to join our team, who possess a recognised fire safety engineering qualification. You will be supporting our experts across a variety of projects both autonomously and as part of a wider team, therefore it is key you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a specialised area and begin your journey with SOCOTEC.
Responsibilities- Develop design and construction fire safety strategies
- Prepare fire safety assessment for external walls
- Prepare other technical engineering analysis such as CFD Modelling, Structural Fire Engineering, Radiation Assessments etc
- Carry out site visits when required
- Provide fire safety advice
- Write fee proposal letters
- Liaise with clients on a regular basis
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in either fire engineering or a related subject with relevant experience related to fire engineering
- Involvement with a professional body
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
