Job Description
You will support our clients by helping to deliver accurate utility surveys, ensuring safe project planning, and contributing to the success of our business. You’ll receive an extensive 12‑month training program designed to transform you into a skilled surveyor.
- Assist with utility detection surveys using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other surveying equipment
- Support senior surveyors in producing accurate utility maps and CAD drawings
- Gather and record site data to industry standards
- Work safely on‑site, following health, safety and environmental procedures
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Interpret utility records and drawings to assist in survey delivery
- Travel across the UK is very common. Candidates must be open to working away from home during the week and accommodating night or evening shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in surveying, construction or civil engineering
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in utility detection and mapping
- Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Full UK driving licence (travel across the Midlands area required)
- Positive, reliable and proactive attitude
