We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Senior Reporting Officer to join our Environmental Science team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently while acting as a primary technical contact for clients and police forces. A strong background in forensic reporting and laboratory quality systems is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Processing analytical data and producing forensic reports and statements
- Checking colleagues’ reports and laboratory work for quality and compliance
- Liaising with police forces and attending court when required
To be a successful Senior Reporting Officer, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience working in a forensic laboratory
- Strong understanding of UKAS (ISO17025) requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
