We are looking for reliable, flexible and driven Senior Engineer / Geologist to join our Geotechnical team. As a member of Geotechnical, you will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country. It is key that you have the balance to be proactive and independent, while simultaneously being a strong team player. Good management skills, and a strong understanding with experience in the industry are vital in order to succeed in this role.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Day to day responsibility for planning, supervision and programming of ground investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom
- Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, as well as assisting with the managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment
- Liaise with clients / engineers / main contractors throughout the site works phase
- Compile monthly financial project accounts and assist the GI Projects Manager in maintaining the financial performance of projects
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Have a minimum level of fitness required to undertake all site based tasks listed above on a variety of sites including active construction sites and linear projects for roads and railways
- 5 - 10 years relevant site and industry experience
