Job Description
We’re looking for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our Building & Real Estate division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. You will be providing effective administration assistance to managers to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project reports and other documentation, undertake routine filing of correspondence, minutes, and invoices in an accessible format, handle photocopying, and prepare outgoing post with correct franking for daily collection.
- Respond to telephone calls promptly and professionally, take and redirect messages in a timely manner, locate personnel when requested, and deal with customers courteously to strengthen company-client relationships.
- Distribute incoming post, maintain stationery and essential office supplies, and provide administrative assistance to remote offices when required to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate solid administration experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues in remote office locations.
- Display effective communication skills with both internal teams and external clients, whilst showing flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and working environments.
- Exhibit strong organisational abilities with proven experience of working within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a positive team environment and complying with health and safety regulations.
