As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Legionella & Water Hygiene Trainer & Consultant to join our Environment & Safety Division.
We are looking for a driven, dependable, and flexible person to join us as a member of the Water Hygiene technical team. It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as having the capabilities to work independently. Due to the nature of the job, travelling will be part of your day-to-day role.
Primarily, your role will be to undertake external training at clients' sites, write Legionella written schemes, undertake Legionella management audits, carry out Legionella risk assessments, and complete internal quality checks. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Legionella General Awareness and Responsible Person Training.
- Water Hygiene Consultancy, including writing written schemes and undertaking audits.
- Legionella risk assessments.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience and knowledge in the field of Legionella Management and Control.
- Extensive knowledge of L8, HSG274 and other guidance and British Standards relating to Legionella management and control.
- Being client-focused and delivering high standards of services in Legionella training and other Legionella and water hygiene related work in a customer-facing role.
About Water Hygiene: Our Water Hygiene team is split into two main areas: Water Hygiene and Legionella Risk assessment and works all over the UK. The Water Hygiene team's main focus is ensuring water systems are working safely in line with regulations. We undertake a broad range of tasks including water temperature monitoring, cleans and disinfections, shower descaling, water sampling, and TMV servicing. Our Legionella risk assessing team will undertake risk assessments and written scheme audits to ensure our clients are complying with their legal obligations. As part of the technical team, your role will bridge both areas of work.
