About the role
We are looking for a driven, dependable, and flexible Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team. The role involves undertaking risk assessments, written scheme audits, and internal quality checks. Travel across the Teesside region will be part of the day‑to‑day responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Legionella risk assessment of water systems
- Audits of management and planned preventative monitoring regimes
- Carry out general water hygiene tasks such as water outlet flushing, temperature checks, and sampling
Required qualifications and experience
- City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment
- Working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS:8580
- Understanding of complex water systems – water softeners, vehicle washes, industrial processes
- Understanding of written scheme of control audits
- Strong communication skills with clients
- Competent report writing skills
- Experience with MS Word and Excel
- Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance checks
