To support our ambitious growth plans for SOCOTEC, we have a great opportunity to join our Building and Real Estate Division. SOCOTEC is the market‑leading independent provider of Building Control services, and we pride ourselves on being the experts and leading authority on Building Control within the industry.

With a significant project portfolio, we are looking to hire a Building Control Advisor who is seeking a rewarding career opportunity and join our Scotland office. This role will be located in our Larbert, Stirlingshire office and is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in the office 3 days a week.

Key Qualifications
  • Detailed knowledge of all aspects of Scottish Building Standards function
  • Full membership of RICS / CIOB / CABE, ensuring CPD requirements are met thereafter to broaden and develop skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to build relationships with clients and deliver excellent client care
  • A self‑starting attitude and an ability to work independently as well as part of a large project team
  • Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, development of suitable solutions and the implementation of these solutions
