We’re looking for a reliable and committed Asbestos Surveyor to join our Environment & Safety Division.
We’re seeking a proactive, adaptable professional who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team. In this role, you’ll be key in surveying buildings, collecting samples, and identifying asbestos-containing materials to help ensure the safety of workplaces and communities. Your expertise will support projects across a wide range of sectors, including defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and service industries.
Key Responsibilities- Undertaking asbestos surveys, recording site data, and submitting reports on time.
- Maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, calibration, and proper records.
- Liaising with clients, project managers, and colleagues to deliver projects to agreed timescales.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and quality standards.
- Must hold BOHS P402 qualifications (or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying).
- Industry experience essential with a proven track record of performing a similar role.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent in the use of IT software, in particular mobile applications used for survey data collection.
- Good client‑facing skills – confident in liaising with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection/report writing.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet project deadlines.
