Job Description
You will be joining an experienced and enthusiastic team of staff delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to our wide ranging client base across the UK. SOCOTEC works in a wide variety of sectors including major infrastructure for highways and rail, nuclear new build, onshore and offshore energy and environmental.
Responsibilities
- Effectively support the business by undertaking site monitoring and office‑based data entry as instructed by the GI Project Manager.
- Assist with planning the monitoring programme to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and in line with the specification requirements.
- Work independently to complete monitoring work as required.
Qualifications
- Awareness and ability to implement Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Computer literacy and competence in the use of MS Office to create spreadsheets and documents for effective reporting, communication and record keeping.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Mobility, flexibility and commitment.
- Minimum level of fitness required to undertake all site‑based tasks on a variety of sites, including active construction sites, sites with difficult access and linear projects for roads and railways.
