As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Contracts Manager to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a proactive, reliable and flexible Contracts Manager to join our Asbestos team. As a member of the team, it is key that you have the balance to be driven and independent, as well as being a strong team player. A background in project management and knowledge of the industry are essential to thrive in this role.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Developing turnkey projects with new and existing clients, focusing on price certainty, reducing job overruns, managing change effectively, minimizing risks, ensuring efficient project timelines, and fostering a collaborative approach with a commitment to quality.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal, guidance, and quality standards, and considering the scalability of the business as it develops.
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following qualifications or their equivalents:
- UKAS Auditor Training
- ACAD Licensed Director Training
- Extensive consultancy experience (over 10 years) and holding the BOHS P405 qualification
About Asbestos
The SOCOTEC Asbestos team holds UKAS accreditation for both Inspection and Testing. We are one of the leading asbestos consultancies in the UK, providing services such as surveying, lab analysis, managing removal projects, consultancy, policy reviews, action plans, and training. We operate across six offices throughout the UK, assisting over 300 clients on a variety of projects, from offices to military bases and hospitals. Our work is vital in preventing asbestos exposure and ensuring compliance with asbestos regulations and health and safety standards.
