Job Description

Are you interested in providing administrative support for site-based teams across the UK? This could be your opportunity to excel as an Environment & Safety Administrator, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed. As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Environment & Safety Administrator to join our team and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and reliable administrator to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our company by helping to provide a high level of customer service and ensuring office tasks are carried out in an efficient manner. You will embody our core behaviours of integrity, curiosity, warmth, and ambition. As a member of the Environment & Safety team, it is key that you are able to work independently, as well as working efficiently as part of a team.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist technical staff with formatting, completion and issuing of reports to ensure deadlines are met
  • Monitor and update spreadsheets used to track job progress
  • Liaise with staff across different departments and respond to email enquiries

Qualifications

  • Strong background in administration
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organisation, time management and attention to detail
