Overview
Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor SOCOTEC, Southwest – Dorset/Bristol/Exeter/Swindon. Are you interested in asbestos? This could be your opportunity to excel as an asbestos surveyor / analyst, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.
Responsibilities
The tasks you will undertake include inspection and testing as authorised in the competency matrix, including one or more of the following:
- Management surveys
- Refurbishment surveys
- Demolition surveys
- Re-inspection for the purpose of asbestos management plans
- Airborne fibre counting
- Airborne fibre sampling
- Four stage clearance
- Record all inspection and test data and produce associated reports that will be subject to authorisation
- Be alert to business opportunities and promote the services of the business
Requirements / Qualifications
- BOHS P402 or equivalent
- BOHS P403 and P404 or equivalent
- CSCS
- SMSTS or SSSTS would be an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years experience carrying out the role
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Full UK driving licence
