We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Engineering Geologist to join our Geotechnical team. In a placement role, you’ll be supporting our experts with the testing and monitoring of building foundations at the forefront of a variety of projects. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a specialised area, aid professional progression, and get stuck in with some exciting projects across the UK in a hands-on learning environment.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
Assisting with the planning, supervision and programming of Ground Investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom
Performing in-situ testing and sampling in accordance with the specification and current technical standards
Post site work visits to undertake monitoring
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Improve skills, knowledge and experience wherever possible to the mutual benefit of the client, SOCOTEC and yourself
Always deliver tasks to the best of one’s ability
A full and clean UK Driving License
