As part of continued growth, UKTC is looking for an experienced, results-driven National Sales Manager to join our rapidly growing team. United Kingdom Testing and Certification are a part of SOCOTEC UK which is the leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services with comprehensive solutions in Infrastructure, Environment, Building & Real Estate, and Advisory. We are an innovative and growing UKAS-accredited testing laboratory and certification body, operating from our base in East Kilbride, Scotland. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of clients in territories across Southern England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with customers.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to wider business goals.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide regular sales reporting.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events.
  • Identify, qualify and develop new sales opportunities from both existing and new customers across your region.
  • Engage with decision makers across the built environment to develop leads.
  • Conduct service demonstrations and sales presentations tailored to the client’s needs.
  • Work with the internal marketing team to develop tailored marketing activities to support the requirements of the sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal sales team to nurture leads.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and interactions within a CRM system.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales and industry activities.

  • Proven experience in B2B sales with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Experience of selling within the construction industry would be an advantage.

  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own territory.
