We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Environmental Estimator to join our Environment & Safety Division. We are looking for a proactive, reliable and flexible Environmental Estimator to join our Environmental Team. As a member of the Team, it is key that you have the balance to be driven and independent, as well as being a strong Team player. A background in estimation and knowledge of the industry are essential in order to thrive in this role.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Prepare and submit accurate quotes for site investigations and waste management projects
- Liaise with clients and contractors to understand requirements and clarify scope
- Provide clear, professional communication throughout the pre-contract process
- Offer tender support to the commercial team where required
- Assist in proposal writing and documentation for bids and tenders
- Maintain knowledge of current pricing, materials, and subcontractor rates
- Work collaboratively with technical and project delivery teams
- Work remotely with the ability to manage time effectively and independently
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Effective contribution to projects, proposals and other allocated business operations within your scope of knowledge and competence
- Day to day input and support to enable the business to meet operational performance and financial targets
- Continuous development of your own capabilities to enable the ongoing success and growth of the business
- Undertaking all duties with minimal supervision, on time and to a suitable level of quality and safety
- Planning and managing your work to ensure effective delivery of enquiries
About Environmental: Our Environmental Team is made up of many different specialists operating in various areas of expertise. The main areas we cover are Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy together with specialist laboratories to support our services. Our services range from on-site monitoring and sample collection, to consultancy works on large contaminated land projects, complemented with onsite works for dust, noise, and local exhaust emissions. We pride ourselves in our ability to consult, monitor and test for our clients, supporting all their needs in one place, using our highly trained employees.
