We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and dedicated Associate Project Manager to join our IT Infrastructure team. You will play a vital role in supporting our company by enhancing IT infrastructure through project management and hands‑on technical contribution.
About Central Services: Based in Burton‑on‑Trent, SOCOTEC UK’s Head Office houses our Central Services teams that provide a corporate structure to support the wider business. Central Services is broken down into four main areas: Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and IT.

Responsibilities:
- Delivery of IT projects, with dual focus on effective project management and hands‑on technical contribution.
- Reporting to the Head of IT Operations and working with various teams, you will scope, project‑manage and deliver projects mainly focused on improving our IT landscape and integrating newly acquired businesses.
This role is ideal for someone with a technical background looking to move into project management.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Relevant technical certifications showcasing expertise in IT infrastructure technologies.
- Experience in running projects within IT and IT Infrastructure.
- Good understanding of project management disciplines (PRINCE, MSP & AGILE).
- General understanding of infrastructure technologies (O365, AD/Entra, VMs).
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
