Responsibilities include:
- Systems engineering across the full lifecycle (requirements → architecture → verification)
- Supporting bids, tenders and early technical solution definition
- System architecture and interface definition
- System performance analysis and verification
- Leading design reviews and managing technical trade-offs
- Producing system documentation, specifications and test artefacts
- Acting as a technical focal point across multiple engineering disciplines
This is a hands-on senior role, combining technical depth with ownership and delivery responsibility rather than line management.
Useful Experience (not all required):
- Exposure to communications, RF-enabled, sensing or data-link systems
- Awareness of digital or analogue electronics and/or embedded software
