We are partnering with a high-end retailer looking for someone to ensure the quality and performance of their MS Dynamics 365 solution. You will play a key role in fostering a quality-driven engineering culture, acting as the central point of accountability for all quality aspects of releases. This role proactively contributes to development planning and prepares early for testing, deployment, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end quality assurance lifecycle by defining and governing a scalable QA strategy aligned to industry best practices.
  • Design and evolve QA frameworks that embed effective development controls, deployment governance, and quality checkpoints across multiple products and platforms.
  • Drive early testing engagement (“shift-left”) to generate reliable test signals and scale testing efforts efficiently.
  • Work closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to plan, develop, and execute quality strategies across complex enterprise solutions.
  • Identify and implement performance optimisations, particularly in relation to custom-built components.
  • Ensure delivery partner agreements appropriately reflect quality responsibilities and that QA scope is consistently embedded within a unified framework.
  • Partner with regional technical teams to maintain consistent quality standards while supporting localisation and regional requirements.
  • Act as the primary quality contact for release activities, providing assurance and visibility to stakeholders.
  • Support post-deployment root cause analysis to identify systemic improvements and strengthen quality practices.
  • Engage proactively with technology vendors to enhance quality frameworks and explore emerging capabilities, including AI-enabled tooling.
  • Define, own, and evolve quality metrics, implementing preventative monitoring and measurements to assess testing effectiveness, efficiency, and overall solution health.
  • Analyse test outcomes and clearly communicate insights to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement.
  • Continuously refine testing processes, tools, and methodologies in collaboration with testing leads and delivery partners.
What You Will Bring:
  • Strong hands-on background within the D365 technical ecosystem, including prior experience in a global delivery environment.

  • Awareness of relevant industry and regulatory standards to ensure compliance (e.g. data protection and security requirements).
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery methodologies.
Skills & Attributes:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of conducting holistic quality reviews and influencing engineering practices.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering across the full project lifecycle.
