The predicted salary is between 28000 - 36000 £ per year.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Maintaining and fault finding on production equipment and site facilities
- Working across electrical and mechanical systems
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance
- Taking part in an on-call rota
- Working closely with engineering and operations on site
Knowledge, experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum BTEC Level 3 in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Mechanical)
- Positive outlook with a strong internal drive to understand and improve machines, systems and processes
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience deploying problem solving methodologies with a track record of results
- Proactive attitude with willingness to collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Appreciation and experience working to preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintenance and optimisation of automation systems
- Experience and knowledge in the upkeep and repair of Pneumatic, Mechanical & Electrical systems
- Working knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and associated metrics
- Experience in working to and generating documentation including change management
- Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, Teams etc.)
- Must have worked with Pick and place robotics, CNC tools, vacuum systems, laser systems, plating lines, semiconductor systems, Chemical and gas systems, LEV, nitrogen, compressed air, DI water, vacuum, and HVAC systems
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Experience with programming and vision system optimisation
- Exposure to optical, laser, or wire bonding systems
- Familiarity with HVAC and site services maintenance
- Experience supporting robotic systems and automated tool optimisation
On call 1 week in every 7 weeks Monday 12:01am to Sunday 12:01am, reducing to weekends only once night shift cover is in place. Overtime available if you want it.
