I am currently recruiting for a leader in the designing and manufacturing of consumer and professional audio products, automotive electronics and audio systems. We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join their Licensing & Partnerships team. You will support technical collaboration with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology partners, ensuring seamless integration of their solutions into customer ecosystems.
You will be responsible for branded experience and solution development and delivery, industry research & innovation and engaging with partners, customers and internal teams; maintaining strong communication.
Required skills:
- Bachelors or master’s in engineering, Acoustics or a related field plus demonstrable experience in either consumer product or automotive systems engineering.
- Track record of driving product delivery and operational excellence with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and technology providers.
- Proven experience of leading definition, development and integration of high-performance audio products.
- Experience with audio test/measurement equipment and industry relevant tuning tools and platforms.
- Strategic problem solver and influencer with the ability to identify and exploit new opportunities and technologies.
- Dynamic, able to learn quickly; self-starter and unafraid to ask questions.
- Ability to translate complex problems/issues into simple to understand form; able to succinctly compile and compose written reports and presentations.
- A passion for engineering and audio.
You’ll be working out of their Southwater, Sussex, R&D office, on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH). The salary on offer for this role is £50,000 to £60,000 (DOE), plus benefits.
