With a global customer base spanning enterprise communications, and government organisations, they design and deliver cutting-edge high-performance connectivity across challenging environments.
The business is headquartered in Cambridge and has a strong track record of innovation. They are now investing heavily in new product development and delivery programmes, and as part of this growth are seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team.
The Role as Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects from concept through to deployment. Working closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations, and customer-facing functions), you’ll ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the high standards expected by the business.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the telecoms / wireless domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of engineering and customer projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Act as a key interface between internal engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Drive project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Support resource allocation and prioritisation across multiple programmes.
- Identify risks and issues, proposing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager (wireless, or electronics industry preferred).
- Strong background in coordinating technical/engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, or similar).
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, scale-up style environment.
