Junior Business Central Consultant
Location: Northampton
Full-time | Hybrid (office-based with occasional client site visits)
Salary: Up to £45K
Are you passionate about building a career in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central? Do you want hands-on exposure to the full project lifecycle while developing both functional and technical expertise?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Microsoft partner that truly values its people and culture. You’ll work alongside experienced consultants, gaining invaluable experience while making a real impact on client projects.
This role would also suit someone currently working as a Business Analyst who is looking to take the next step into a consultant role, with full support and training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to analyse business processes and capture requirements
- Evaluate requests for feasibility and conduct cost/benefit analysis
- Develop a strong understanding of Business Central data structures and process flows
- Produce functional specifications for clients and technical documentation for development teams
- Design, coordinate, and execute test plans with colleagues and clients
- Support solution deployments and monitor post-implementation performance
- Provide client support, including hands-on end-user assistance when required
Experience / Qualifications
- A background or strong interest in finance, accounting, or supply chain management
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience as a Business Analyst with a desire to move into consulting, or prior ERP exposure
- Enthusiasm for project management (a plus but not essential)
- A proactive learner with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (required for client visits)
