We are currently supporting a financial services organisation in the search for a Technical Salesforce Business Analyst to join on an initial 6-month contract. This role will suit a hands-on Salesforce Business Analyst with strong Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience, who is comfortable working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have prior experience delivering Salesforce projects within banking or financial services environments, with a solid understanding of regulated processes, integrations, and enterprise Salesforce ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for Salesforce enhancements and ongoing platform improvements
- Work hands-on within Salesforce to review and assess flows, validation rules, page layouts, custom fields, custom objects, and automation logic
- Analyse existing business processes and translate requirements into detailed Salesforce user stories and functional specifications
- Support the design and delivery of enhancements across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Manage and support UAT, regression testing, and release validation activities
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to support business reporting needs
- Conduct impact assessments for system changes, integrations, and configuration updates
- Work closely with Salesforce Admins, Developers, Architects, and third-party vendors to deliver solutions
- Support data quality initiatives, including field analysis, duplicate management, and process improvements
- Analyse integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, understanding upstream/downstream impacts
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders across operations, sales, service, and technology teams
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst in a technical/system BA capacity
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Experience reviewing Salesforce configuration including Flows, validation rules, custom objects, page layouts, and workflow automation
- Strong experience with Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and user story creation
- Experience supporting UAT, testing cycles, and release delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Recent experience working in banking, wealth management, lending, or wider financial services
- Strong understanding of data migration, data quality, and Salesforce integrations
- Comfortable working in fast-paced enterprise environments with multiple workstreams
