I am currently recruiting for an award-winning Digital agency who are looking for a web developer to join their digital team. We are looking for a Web Developer who will work alongside other developers in creating, maintaining, and updating the websites they build and other digital projects, particularly focusing on one of the businesses biggest flagship customers.
You will need to have sufficient Drupal experience, with one of the latest versions of Drupal ideally as well as full stack development experience.
You will be responsible for:
- Generating ideas with team members and offering insightful solutions.
- Taking responsibility for your own development work, including testing and ongoing support.
- Providing support to clients and other team members alike.
- Being aware of colleagues’ roles and responsibilities and assisting or covering in all areas when required.
- Ensuring documentation is current and relevant.
- Attending meetings and briefings with clients and peers when required.
Required skills:
- Good knowledge and experience of working with Drupal and Wordpress.
- Full Stack development capabilities and experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL, Git.
- The ability to meet deadlines and think strategically.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with other teams.
- Good technical knowledge of typical office software applications.
- Automated deployment systems, DNS configurations and CDNs.
- Commercial experience.
- Good understanding of design, typography, colour and grid structures combined with a meticulous eye for detail.
You’ll be working out of their East Cambridge office, on a hybrid basis (1 day onsite, 4 days WFH). The salary on offer for this role is up to £50,000 (DOE), plus benefits.
