I am hiring a Project Manager (Maternity Cover) for a remote role in Cambridgeshire (UK) with occasional Cambridge Office visits. Salary: £30,000 to £50,000 DOE.
Role:
A Project Manager on a maternity cover basis to support the delivery of digital projects within a technology and consultancy business working across pharma, biotech, and medtech. This role suits someone who enjoys owning projects end to end, working closely with clients, and keeping delivery moving without overcomplicating things.
What you will be doing:
- Managing client-facing digital projects from planning through to delivery
- Creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Producing clear status updates and reports for clients and stakeholders
- Coordinating internal teams and keeping everyone aligned
- Using tools such as Jira and Confluence day to day
- Proactively managing risks, dependencies, and priorities
- Working within ISO-aligned environments (e.g. 9001, 27001)
What I am looking for:
- Around 3+ years’ experience in project or client management
- Experience working across the software development lifecycle
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator who builds trusted relationships
- Comfortable managing deadlines and competing priorities
- Solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- A degree in a science or IT-related subject is useful, but equivalent experience is just as valuable.
