Are you an experienced Head of Marketing looking for your next challenge within defence? This is your chance to build, shape and lead a marketing function with real commercial influence inside a highly respected defence consultancy. Our client has an incredible team of professionals who are operating at the sharp end of defence innovation, turning complex ideas into deployable, real world capability!
We’re looking for a leader who can bring energy, direction, and accountability - someone who knows how to turn marketing into a genuine growth engine. You’ll be stepping into a business at an exciting stage, with the opportunity to elevate brand, sharpen positioning, and drive a high quality pipeline in a complex, high value B2B environment.
You’ll work directly with the Head of Defence Sales, owning the connection between marketing and revenue. Expect to:
- Drive qualified lead generation across digital, events and campaigns
- Mentor and grow your small team, leading from the front
- Shape thought leadership (white papers, insights, speaking opportunities)
- Own the website, content and marketing collateral
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to strengthen positioning
- Manage external partners, including PR
- Take full ownership of marketing spend and ROI
ESSENTIAL Experience
- Background in defence consultancy
- Proven success in B2B lead generation and commercial marketing
- Experience leading and growing a small team
- Able to operate strategically and remain very hands-on
