We’re partnering with an innovative engineering consultancy developing cutting-edge medical devices and technology that improve patient outcomes. They’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a talented multidisciplinary team, developing real-world products that make a difference to patients and clinicians.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing high-quality software using C and/or C++.
- Working across the full development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing and release.
- Collaborating with software, electronics and mechanical engineers.
- Writing robust, well-tested code and clear technical documentation.
- Helping solve complex engineering challenges and bring innovative medical devices to life.
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years’ commercial experience with C and/or C++.
- Good software engineering practices, including Git, testing and documentation.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with embedded systems, RTOS, Linux, Qt or medical software standards such as IEC 62304 would be a bonus.
