I'm working with a growing, high-tech engineering business just south of Cambridge that designs and manufactures advanced electronic systems deployed globally. Their technology operates within complex, integrated environments. Hardware, software, networking, power and sensor integration all working together.
They're now looking for a technically strong Project Manager to take ownership of customer projects from order through to delivery.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing external technical projects end to end
- Coordinating engineering, manufacturing and procurement teams
- Working directly with customer technical stakeholders
- Ensuring system integration readiness and on-time delivery
- Managing risk, budgets and structured project documentation
This is a hands-on delivery role. You need to understand electronic systems and feel comfortable operating in technically complex environments.
Must haves:
- Technical degree in electronics, engineering or similar
- Experience delivering hardware or system integration projects
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Confidence communicating with engineers and technical customers
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Experience within defence, surveillance, sensor integration or related fields
