We are hiring a Staff / Principal Platform Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across a modern cloud-native platform within a scaling SaaS / fintech environment. This is a highly hands-on senior engineering role focused on platform architecture, Kubernetes, GitOps, cloud security, reliability and engineering standards. While not a people-management position, the role carries significant technical influence across platform direction, architecture and operational maturity. You will work closely with senior engineering leadership to evolve and harden a production-grade AWS platform supporting secure, scalable and repeatable customer environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Driving technical direction across AWS, Kubernetes/EKS and GitOps infrastructure
- Reviewing and improving platform architecture, resiliency and operational readiness
- Defining engineering standards across infrastructure, CI/CD, observability and security
- Leading best practices around Terraform, Argo CD, deployment automation and platform operations
- Supporting secure multi-environment and SaaS deployment models
- Improving platform reliability, monitoring, disaster recovery and production hardening
- Mentoring engineers through design reviews, code reviews and technical guidance
