We’re hiring on behalf of a cutting-edge tech-driven client in the connectivity sector who is seeking a seasoned Widowns expert with a knoweldge of Linux. Are you an experienced Senior Systems Administrator looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled professional to take ownership of their core infrastructure and play a key role in maintaining and improving business-critical systems.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing and supporting Windows Server environments (AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Exchange/365).
Administering and maintaining Linux systems across production and test environments.
Overseeing networking infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routing, VPNs, VLANs).
Implementing and monitoring security best practices across systems and networks.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across multi-platform environments.
Working closely with project teams to deliver upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
Producing and maintaining technical documentation for systems and processes.What we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer at senior level.
Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory.
Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat).
Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs).
Experience with virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS a plus).
Familiarity with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
